ICECON CERT S.R.L. certification body is a private body that performs certification activities on construction products both in Romania as well as abroad.

ICECON CERT S.R.L. is accredited by the Romanian Accreditation Association – RENAR, as competent body to carry out specific tasks of third-party assessment and verification of constancy of performance of construction products covered by Regulation (EU) no. 305/2011, accreditation certificate no. ON 066.

ICECON CERT S.R.L. is accredited by the Romanian Accreditation Association – RENAR as competent body to carry out specific tasks of third-party conformity assessments for construction products, in the voluntary domain, according to the requirements specified in SR EN ISO/CEI 17065, accreditation certificate no. PR 049.

ICECON CERT SRL is designated by the Romanian Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration to the European Commission as a Notified Body (NB 2204), according to Regulation (EU) no. 305/2011 (systems of assessment and verification of constancy of performance: 1, 1+ and 2+)

ICECON CERT is a legally constituted entity with legal personality, registered by the Romanian Trade Registry under the no.: J40/23467/13.12.2007, fiscal code CIF RO 22927289/2007, having its head office at Bucharest, Sos. Pantelimon, no. 266, sector 2, 1st floor, office no. 7.

The policies and procedures governing the ICECON CERT activity are non-discriminatory and the certification services are accessible to all the applicants whose activities that are included in the ICECON CERT certification domains, without imposing excessive conditions (financial or of any other kind). The clients’ access it is not conditioned by the company size or by their affiliation to any organisation, and the certification is not conditioned by the number of certificates already issued.

ICECON CERT is fully responsible for the certification decision regarding the granting, maintenance, renewal, extension, restriction, suspension and withdrawal of the certificates, as appropriate.

The policies governing the ICECON CERT activities are: independence, impartiality, confidentiality, objectivity, responsibility, transparency and competence. The certification body impartiality and independency, as well as the decision concerning the certification and assessment are assured at the strategic and policy level.
